I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tanium in Jan 2022
Interview
The HR people were great and very responsive but I feel like Tanium needs to take a look at their hiring process. From the get-go, I was told 3 interviews when it ended up being 6 and clearly, none of the interviewers were told they were interviewing someone until right before the interview. None of them had questions prepared except for the actual hiring manager, several were even late for the interview itself. One interviewer asked what I knew about the company and product, I told her exactly what I gathered from the site and she snarkily told me I clearly needed to do a little more research if I wanted to work there. That was interview 5/6 and I was so confused. No questions were about my technical knowledge or past projects. I was very excited about this company from my talks with the manager and initial HR screenings but the last few interviews really soured my experience. I then got ghosted by this company despite investing 6 interviews worth of my time into it.

I applied online. I interviewed at Tanium (Singapore) in Jun 2023
Interview
Applied for their marketing role and it was a disaster. It was a virtual call, and the first 10mins of the call, the interviewer mentioned that they have renovaters at their house and had to open the door for them. So they left the call to do that, and when they are back, you can tell they were totally unfocused at the next half of the call. And when asked questions, there wasnt any good response. Dont waste people time if you already do not want to interview that person.

Question 1
I cant even remember what questioned were. It was one basic question and then interviewer could not even focus on it
It was a pretty standard interview process. The recruiters always keep candidates informed. The extra communication is a nice personal touch. Everyone I met through the process was polite and professional.
One interview with hiring manager, one with the HR and I believe a few more with other stakeholders but unsure.
Ok, usually I wouldn't care to leave a review but this was probably one of the worst hiring experiences I've had with a hiring manager. I could tell this person had no hands-on marketing experience (minimal at best) and just read off a spreadsheet. I could go on and on but let's keep it short at that (for those with creative flair and hustlers, you know it's time to run).
