Overall the interview process at Tapad needs some work. It took a few weeks to even schedule an interview after the phone screening because the recruiter was unresponsive to multiple follow up emails. Then once I interviewed in person finally, I only had the chance to talk with 2 out of the 3 people I was scheduled to meet with. Totally understandable since people are busy, I get it. But what really turned me off is after I was told that I should come back in so I could have the chance to talk with the person I didn't get to speak with, and after reaching out to the recruiter to try and set this up, once again weeks go by with no response. Then finally i hear back from the recruiter that they decided to pass on me because they were looking for someone with more experience...
Honestly really unprofessional way of handling the process. I would have appreciated having a fair chance and getting to speak with everyone I was told I would speak with. In the end I went with something else anyway but Tapad really rubbed me the wrong way and I don't think I will be applying for any other positions in the future.
My recommendation is to hire recruiters who are responsive and professional.
