Interview
I did not enjoy my experience interviewing with Target. They told me numerous times I was the best candidate for the role and singing my praises only to not offer me the job and send a rejection on Thanksgiving day. I wish they had remained neutral instead of getting my hopes up with all the unnecessary praise about how great of a fit I was. The job posting was extremely vague and it seemed that the team didn't have a clear understanding of what the role even was or should be. The questions asked during the interview were also extremely vague, and didn't give me the opportunity to present my best self. I was also told by the hiring manager that we wouldn't be able to use any data at all to measure success for the partnerships we launched, which seems very ineffective to me. I honestly didn't even want to work there because of the DEI rollback, but after this unprofessional experience, I will 100% not be applying to Target in the future.
