I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Bengaluru) in Sep 2019
Interview
The HR contacted me via LinkedIn about the job opening. After confirming, my interview was scheduled on one of the Saturdays.
On the interview day, upon reaching the location, I came to know that there were around 100 candidates for multiple roles.
At the location all the candidates were greeted well and were offered tea/coffee with cookies.
We were shown few videos about the culture at Target.
Later on, the interview process got started.
There were two rounds of interview.
First one was a technical round where the interviewer asked questions related to programmatic advertising. The interviewer was good and was able to understand my background.
2nd round was more of a situational and behavioural questions round. Here the interviewer wanted to check your approach of problem solving.
Note: Make sure to understand the question first and then answer.
The interview process took tue entire day.
Later after two days I got a mail which confirmed that I was selected. However it took 15 days to get the offer later.
Ps. Free lunch was provided to all the candidate.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Target (Bengaluru) in Aug 2019
Interview
Was interviewed for 2 technical rounds and one situational round. They didn't ask about the CTC expectations at the start and after all the rounds are done, they simply don't respond if the CTC you are expecting is more. I personally didn't like the interview process. They don't tell atleast what is the best they can offer. Even after sending 3 emails to know the status, there isn't a response. Had to find out the status from the person who has referred me instead of feedback coming from the HR. Found this as highly unprofessional.
