I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Kalamazoo, MI) in Oct 2011
Interview
I first was told to answer another online questionaire. Upon completing, I was told to wait int he Starbucks that was connected to Target. The AP manager introduced herself, and we walked back to a quiet office. She asked me a variety of behavioral and situational questions before offering me the chance ask her any questoins. Next, the HR manager moved me into his office, where the questioning continued. They were more situational and behavioral questions like the ones already posted on this site. Study those! Finally, the manager of the store came in and spoke with me, along with offering me the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Windsor, CT) in Jan 2026
Interview
Very easy , interviewing was via zoom . Shared previous experience and skills . Interview only lasted about 30 minutes . Didn’t feel like I was being sold a dream about the expectations or pay .
Interviews were conducted virtually and recruiter was easy to communicate with. The first interview was a more general personality check type interview, getting to know the role and about my general interest. Then the second interview was about a week later with two others and it was more about the detailed aspects of the job and how my strengths would contribute to the role. I heard back within a few days.
5 to 6 generic interview questions the biggest ones focusing on how you handle conflict and work as a team. Make sure you can emphasize that customer service is at the core of asset protection and loss mitigation.
