I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Fontana, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
I had total of three interviews. The first, was with two interviewers and went really well. They were easy going and very fun to talk to. The second interview was a bit more dry, with only one interviewer, I felt she concentrated more on writing down what I had to say than actually interviewing me. The last interview was just like the second, but the questions made me stumble a bit. With target, you will always get questions that are relatively the same. Make sure to give the same answers every time. Yes, every time, they want consistency which is something I failed to to in my last interview, I brought up completely different stories. Definitely a big no, no! Smile, give genuine answers, and be consistent!

Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
