I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Saratoga Springs, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
I believe Target is still using the STAR method, every answer should be broken down into:
S-Situation, TA- Tasks/Actions you took to resolve the situation,R- Results
Do a lot of research on the role and make sure that you put emphasis on your leadership qualities in your answers.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time that you solved a problem, streamlined a process, or drove efficiency
For my internship you start with an online interview answering questions into the camera. Then if they like you, you have a second interview that they send you a packet to prepare with. All of the questions are about what you do in a certain scenario. Majority are management/leadership questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
Phone screening then a zoom meeting, consist of four questions using the STAR method. Make sure you are prepared as some of the questions are looking for specific stories and not just what would you do but what did you do to get the results. Also be ready to explain your background.
