I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Charles Town, WV) in Mar 2022
Interview
Several rounds of interviews. Most of them a blend of situational, behavioral based questions followed up with hypothetical scenarios. Follows recruiter, store director, HR. Unfortunately, they get to decide if you would leave them in the next year or not.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you were apart of a project and it didn't turn out the way you wanted.
What will you bring to Target if we hire you?
I applied online. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2026
Interview
Interviewed 4 rounds, was transparent each time about being available to start asap, looking for immediate employment etc. At the end of the 4th interview, I was told there was no opening for the role I was applying for, but they were willing to hire someone for the bench, but "only if they were the right fit," but they also were not in any hurry. I asked why this wasn't disclosed earlier, and they did not have an answer. A week after my final interview, I received an automated rejection letter. I would have hoped after 4 rounds of interviews, that I could have received personalized feedback regarding the decision, but I was not given that courtesy.

I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Sioux City, IA) in Dec 2024
Interview
Applied online. I received an email to choose an interview time based on the recruiter’s availability. Interview was a phone call. I was a little surprised it wasn’t a video interview. Recruiter was professional. I declined to go to next steps after I heard the schedule expectation.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Jul 2024
Interview
There was a minimum of 5 interviews which is way too much. You should know by a maximum of 3 interviews if the candidate is correct or not. I’d recommend revamping the process to allow for a better candidate experience.
