I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Stockton, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
A recruiter contacted me shortly after I submitted my resume online and within a couple of days I had a phone interview which was more of a "getting to know you" type of call. The next day, I was contacted to set up an in-person interview. The following week, I had an in-person interview with an STL (store manager). By the time I got to my car after that interview, I already had a voicemail on my phone from the interviewer asking if I could do another in-person interview with another STL later that day. Went to that interview and was informed a couple of days later that I wasn't being offered a position. Target was helpful in providing feedback after each interview to help in subsequent interviews. They are looking for an ETL with a very upbeat personality who can always be "on." When providing answers to their interview questions, they really want you to focus on providing little background information and then explain, in detail, the steps that you took (and why) to reach the desired result. I watched a lot of YouTube videos to study behavioral interviewing, but was still surprised at the depth of information they wanted when answering their interview questions.

Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
