I applied online. I interviewed at Target (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
Interview was easy and straightforward. You’ll typically speak with the manager you’ll under and they ask you pretty generic interview questions, including about previous work experience. Overall it couldn’t have taken more than 15-30 minutes. You’ll have to find the office, one of the workers can you point you in the right direction.
Online application and in store interview to discuss retail/customer service experience. Having some previous restaurant experience was seen as a plus but definitely not necessary. Met with some of the other baristas to see if there was a good team vibe. Offer received same day.

Question 1
How have you handled a customer who was displeased with your service?
Pretty straight forward. It is really like every interview at any big box store. They didn't ask anything particular. They mainly focused on if you could get to work on time and if you were available. They worked with anyone who was in school (hs or college)
