I applied for several jobs all titled as senior software engineer. Surprisingly, the recruiter instantly arranged tech screens with each of them. Most of them went quite well with only one position that asked a few technical aspects that I am not quite familiar with. Unfortunately, I did not pass any of the tech screens which is quite surprising as this is the first time that I have not passed the tech screen round in my whole career with 9 year experience (even in this market). I also checked the interviews posted in glassdoor in recent 2 months, and there are no job offers regarding swe, which looks weird considering there are many swe job postings of Target. Now I have to doubt if the job postings are just for KPI or other reasons. Anyway, I just want to let candidates know that do not get surprised if you get rejected even your interview went well.
