Two Stage interview process- first was a great conversation with Maria in HR, went so well, I was excited about the second interview. This was set up for about a week later and NOBODY TURNED UP, No correspondence, no comms what so ever, a few weeks later, I get an email saying we have now found someone who can interview you. Right ok, I joined the call and it was a lovely guy from Arizona, it was 2am there, A little strange but ok. Conversation was very structured and not as good as first time round. I dont think I clicked as well with this guy. Fine, it didnt go so well, I can take that. So after that I never heard a thing, even though I had reached out to Maria, she responded and said she would get back to me.
Fast forward 3 weeks- NOTHING, no rejection email nothing.
The boom, we would like to offer you a position of Operational Team Leader - ( I didnt apply for that role) So, I responded advising that this was not the role I applied for, I got an email back saying yes thats correct, that role has been filled so we are offering you this. 30K less than what I am on...I politely declined,
So in summary, it started of really great and just went downhill from there, lack of communication, lack of transparency and lack of respect,
I really do hope you take this onboard, I see too many companies with really bad recruitment processes, complete lack of respect for candidates time and abilities.
