Applied through Glassdoor. Standard interview process was an initial phone screen was set up and about a week later an in person interview was conducted. They had me review several documents and website to provide insight and recommendations on how they could improve their operations. Naturally I spent hours preparing myself for the interview. When the day of the interview came, I thought I impressed my potential superiors who conducted the rounds of questions. At the end of the interview they told me they should be wrapping up the interviews in the next couple days. I followed back up accordingly several times with several different people and they all ignored my emails and calls.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Although I thought I was a strong candidate for the role, I understand there can always be someone else more qualified. What I cannot understand is the lack of communication especially when they know you're taking PTO and requiring candidates to perform in depth research for the interview. How long does it take to email someone back and tell them they are not the candidate they selected?
