Consisted of:
1. Initial call with recruiter
2. Hackerrank (3 questions, relatively easy)
3. A conversation with one of the data scientists
4. A take home project
5. 4 hour panel interview
Overall the interview was extremely conversation driven (no leetcode etc), which I really liked. I liked all the people I talked to as well.
There were a few downsides: it felt like my take-home project was not looked at at all and, as other reviewers noted, the recruiter definitely has a tendency to assure you that you are a 'top candidate' while you're waiting for a decision, only for you to receive a copy+paste rejection email. It's understandable why they do this, but still a bit annoying.
Will reapply in a few months. Definitely think this company is going to be a leader in the biological data space.
