The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Terracon (Austin, TX) in May 2012
Interview
I met a senior engineer at a career fair and called me for an on-site interview. He introduced me to all the engineers and asked about me. They asked my experience during Masters and 2-year profession. Then, they asked why did I changed from mining engineer to geotechnical.
They briefly described about the projects they were undertaking at that time. They said, they are looking for engineers for other branches. But, my guess for not getting an offer is 40-50% of my discussion was related to mining, and my work experience in mining, rather than geotechnical experience. Other would be due to sponsorship issues as I am an international student.
