I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Seaton, South West England, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
As described by other reviewers, they do ask the usual questions. But beware older people around 60 ish!Despite the add reading "In your interview we’ll go into more detail about the different shifts which you can work around your family and lifestyle commitments," this was a lie really. I gave reasonable availability for my age, and was attracted by the add description. I was told I was not available enough in the evening, which indirectly discriminates against my age.. its not easy finding a job at 60 years old! I have done my evenings and need something more appropriate for my age .

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Tesco in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview was fairly informal and the person interviewing me was polite and friendly. I was taken into a small room, told about the job, asked about my availability and then asked some questions. He explained the process for this interview was shorter than the normal interview because it's a temporary role for Christmas.
I was not successful in getting the job and I did not receive any feedback as to why that was.
