      I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Texas A&M University (Wichita Falls, TX) in May 2012

      Interview

      I met a regional person and coordinated a group phone interview. I spoke with the district director and the district subject advisor who would later be my supervisors. I wound up traveling to 3 counties around the state to see where I would be living and interviewed with local officials in each one before deciding on the county that best suited my skill sets.

      Interview

      The interview was conducted by a large committee made up of the local stakeholders, the district administrator, and the state coordinator. Standard questions and questions related to the job were asked. It was a fairly relaxed and friendly atmosphere, like they wanted you to do your best and have a good time.
