I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) in Aug 2012
Interview
Informal initial interview via Skype (lasted around 30 minutes). Following this I traveled to College Station for a day of interviews - I gave an hour long presentation about my previous research and had discussions with a range of faculty members (each lasting 30-60 minutes). After the interview I stayed in touch with Texas A&M - I notified them of several other offers I'd had (some of these had approaching deadlines for my response) and they made an offer quickly.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas A&M University (Bryan, TX) in Aug 2022
Interview
Whole day interview with lab members. You have to be prepared with a presentation showing your work during your graduate school PhD journey. It's fun and you get to tell your story and skills. Went out for lunch later!

Principal Investigator questioned about my previous research experiences that I had during my Ph.D. tenure and asked me to relate it to how it will help their lab research work
The interview process is pretty normal. It started with a seminar and met with all the lab members individually for 30 minutes. At the end, it is a tour around the lab before heading out with few people for dinner
