I was referred by a friend who was working at this position earlier and I submitted my application through email to the appropriate person. Then I had few email exchange with HR and they called me for interview in like 10 days. There was only interview. The professor and HR were in the room. They first explained me about the work.

They asked my about my skills that were needed for this job (like Mysql,MS Access,Excel). HOw comfortable I am working with these technologies and for how long have I worked using it in past.

Very kind and comfortable interviewer. About 8 questions, mainly about past experiences. They had said that they are still interviewing other candidates, I was offered the position 2 days later.

Minimal Interview process; just wanted to get to know me and why I'd be a good fit for the position; only about 6-8 questions were asked; received an offer very shortly after the interview process

Simple interview, basic questions asking for previous experience and work availability. Company prioritizes work life balance and emphasizes you’re a student first. Very easy interview if you review the basic interview questions available on online blogs.
