I applied online. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Baton Rouge, LA) in May 2020
Interview
Very straightforward interview. They seemed pretty eager to bring on new servers at the time. Super willing to work with those who've never served before. Don't be overwhelmed by the training. Take it one day at a time and most stuff you'll really learn on the job.
In person with multiple people being interviewed at the same time as you, usually starts with the manager and if they like you, they would introduce you and the owner of the restaurant will interview you and give you the job on the spot.
Easy and straightforward. Talk about your experience and why you want to work there. Hired me on spot and organized my orientation days. Worked with my schedule and accept seasonal work.
