They ghost you. Even a rejection is better than ghosting. No communication is given beyond the initial recruiter interview. I would suggest at least reaching out to the people that take the time to jump through all of your hoops and let them know they were rejected.

Interview
Received an email from HR telling me to schedule an interview on her robot calendar. The soonest I could schedule was 8 days out. By the time the call came around I already had another offer on the table. She then informed me that the hiring manager was on vacation… Didn’t really matter since they weren’t really feeling me. Just found it off that a company advertises a position and then didn’t want to interview a very qualified candidate in a timely manner. I guess I wasn’t the right kind of candidate.
