I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Connor Group (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2019
Interview
The Connor Group is very selective in choosing their candidates by having a series of interviews with different people in different positions. Initially you speak with the recruiter to inquire more about the position. They will ask certain questions and based upon your responses they will determine if you have the qualities the company is looking for. If so, you continue to have interviews leading up to the Chief Operations Officer and a “day in the field” with the Regional Vice President. I personally enjoyed interviewing with The Connor Group and speaking with some of the top executives.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Connor Group (Dayton, OH) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process was great. The person who recruited me was very honest and helpful thoughtout the whole process. The interview process will consist of a total of 5 interviews and a day in the field. The 1st and 2nd interview will be over the phone. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th interviews will be video. My recruiter kept me informed during the entire process and made my interview process go smoothly.
I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Connor Group (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2018
Interview
After seeing a posting online I had the opportunity to speak with Zach Rainwater and it was as genuine a conversation I have had in some time. Initially it felt very “informal” but never unprofessional. After only a few moments it became clear to me what his true intentions were... to get to know me on a very real level and then to passionately describe the company culture of The Connor Group which he was so proud to share. It was infectious how genuine and direct our conversation was. He was always honest, very clear, confident in what they had to offer and transparent about what they expected. I loved the “best in the biz” mentality but it was never pretentious or arrogant... just real. After several other interviews, some phone, some video I knew I wanted in. I think what really sold me was the comfort I took in Zach’s counsel and guidance along the way. It spoke volumes to the company and what they are all about. For me to take a leap of faith to transition from restaurant management after 15 years to property management was a change met with excitement not daunting stress, all because of how open and honest everyone I met during the interview process was. What a great first impression and it really set the tone for the high expectations The Connor Group has for all of its employees top down. Best interview process I have encountered to date. Thank you again Zach!
