I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The E.W. Scripps Company
Interview
The interview process was very unprofessional and unorganized. I was contacted by a recruiter about a position and she set up a phone interview and directed me to apply on the site. The phone interview was first with the local supervisor and not the recruiter which was backwards to begin with. The interview went well and the supervisor was very nice and told me that the recruiter would email me to set up another phone interview with her but she was on vacation so it would be the following week. She never reached back out to me. 2 weeks later I sent the recruiter another note asking about the next interview and how to move forward, and she blandly responded that they moved forward with another candidate. The local branch I interviewed with was very nice and interested, but the recruiter in all her messaging with me was abrupt, rude and not very professional in her communication.
there were three interviews: phone interview with HR rep, virtual interview with manager and a third in person interview with manager and vice president. the interview process was thorough but not drawn out
The most unprofessional interview experience I’ve had so far. The interviewers got on our zoom call with wrinkly clothes and the job description was wrong. When I asked what is something this company does to ensure the well-being of employees, I didn’t receive a coherent answer.

Question 1
What do you know about this company?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The E.W. Scripps Company (New York, NY) in Jun 2022
Interview
I had 3 rounds of interviews. The first was a simple HR phone screening. The HR screening was easy. The second was a virtual interview with 2 heads of the ad sales team. This round was easy. The third was a virtual interview with 3 vice presidents. A fourth person no showed the interview. The entire process took about 2 months. I never heard back for the HR recruiter everything I reached out. I went through 3 rounds of interviews with 6 people. They could have had the decency to tell me there will be no offer. That's unprofessional to ghost a candidate.
