The E.W. Scripps Company interview questions

Apparently, management will hand your resume out to other employees, not managers or supervisors but potential coworkers. They get to know your personal information and then "tear" through your resume in a meeting. That's even before you have walked in the door and have an actual interview. Unless you're a "rockstar" and have many years of collections, accounts receivable, or other relate-able experience do not expect to get the job. Regardless of the qualifications listed on the job description. Based on the interview it seems as if the mangers/ supervisors do not want to train anyone and expect you to start right out of the gate.

Ok - so I can't say I actually went through the interview process because it never even happened. They reached out to me to schedule a first round interview. We scheduled it - I was available during the said time period. I waited at the scheduled time - 15 minutes pass, 30 minutes pass, 45 minutes ... an hour. I think you can see where this is going. No call. So OK, things do happen. I email to reschedule. The person emails me back almost a week later (the interview was supposed to be on a Wednesday - I emailed that night. Didn't hear anything. So I emailed again on Monday morning, and they responded on Tuesday morning). So the person said something came up, and they wanted to reschedule. No problem. I realize life happens. New interview is schedule for that Thursday afternoon. No call. Nothing. At all. No apology. No email. No one following up. So I emailed. I got a response almost a week later telling me that they are no longer hiring for the position. No explanation. No apology. Nothing for wasting my time or the lack of professionalism.
