I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Sandy, UT) in Sep 2013
Interview
I was surprised that I got the initial interview call so quickly. I went in to the store and had the best interview I've ever had in my life, no kidding.
Although I had no experience in the job I was applying for, the questions I was asked seemed so logical and I had great answers for all of them. I was given a form to take to a lab for a drug test; apparently I had the job. All in all it was a great experience.
It started with an automated call. Then meet with the store manager. Learned about the job. I would be assisting with stocking the shelves and other miscellaneous tasks around the store. Ultimately decided to not take the position.
The interview process was easy, at least at the distribution center. It is a lot of hard work though. Unless you need a job right away, I would not suggest it
