First had a brief phone interview with the HR recruiter, then a WebEx interview a couple of weeks later with the hiring manager. They invited me for an on-site interview a couple of weeks later and it went fairly well. I met with some people live and some over WebEx. They were all very nice for the most part - some asked tougher questions than others and seemed a little harder to impress. I followed up with the hiring manager and HR recruiter following the interview. Never received a response from the hiring manager but the HR recruiter said she would be in touch as soon as possible once they had made a decision. A couple of weeks later I received an automated no-reply email saying that they had selected another candidate. I followed up again with the HR recruiter and she said that it was sent in error and that they hadn't made a decision yet and were still seriously considering me as a candidate, and that she would be in touch very soon. Again a couple of weeks went by and I heard nothing, so I followed up one last time and once again received that automated no-reply email saying they had decided to go with another candidate. I never again heard from the hiring manager or HR recruiter. The whole process seemed pretty disorganized, very slow, and lacking consideration for a candidate who spent a good amount of time speaking with/meeting with/following up with people. The whole process from start to finish dragged out for over 2 months. I understand if I was not a good fit for the position, but a little more communication would have been nice.
