Very straight-forward and was more personalized to ask about who the student is, what experience they want to gain from the work-study program, along with projects that they are interested in. Some labs required technical expertise due to the types of projects that they are working on at the time; however, they really try to show you how you can further your own career during the work-study program

Reached out to faculty via email and sat down to discuss my qualifications and interest in the position - got an offer soon after interview. Overall the interview process was pleasant and pretty casual.

Interview
The interview process involved me meeting with three individual Lab managers and then selected to be interviewed by one. After this they showed me around the lab and offered me a position.
