The Trade Desk Developer interview questions

Process was very nice and friendly. Two out of the three interviews were done in a pretty relaxed way, despite the problems being quite challenging. Whether you can solve them or not shouldn't be dictated by their attitude and it certainly didn't feel that way.

The interview process was good until the last interview I had. I was supposed to have 2 technical, one behavioral, and 1 system design. Unfortunately last minute they changed the system design to a technical one due to scheduling issues with the original interviewer. I ended up being interviewed by someone who was given the task last minute and threw a Leetcode hard pulled straight from Leetcode itself in there for me to solve. I really didn't appreciate that I was given a technical last minute when I had been preparing for a system design, and admittedly I did get nervous and that messed with my problem solving skills. The interviewer was very clearly not interested in it since the beginning, and had a condescending tone to me the entire time, which made it even harder to try and solve the problem. I felt like I had done well on the first 2 technicals but the last one is what tripped me up and it's unfortunate that I did not get an offer. Other people may not have this experience, but I will say the last minute change was not the ideal situation and I wish I had been given the system design interview like originally scheduled.
