Interview
My interview process at The Trade Desk (TTD) was a very positive one. I had known about the company for a few years and previously spoken to a recruiter about a different position. After consistently hearing positive things in the market about TTD I chose to reach back out to explore open opportunities. HR was very willing to speak to me about all of their open roles, despite the fact that the role I initially interviewed for (Account Management) wasn't open in my city. HR pointed me in the direction of the Data Partnerships team, which after initial investigation showed that there was a ton of opportunity within both TTD as well as the programmatic landscape. From there I had a number of conversations with people both on the Parnerships team as well as other roles within TTD office in my market, then all the way up to the COO (who makes it a point to personally interview anyone that falls under him, which is quite a large group). Throughout these interviews HR was always very timely in their responses and kept me up to speed on progress every step of the way. The positive interactions I had both with HR as well as the hiring team during the interview process are a big reason I chose to join TTD.
It was a fantastic experience. I thought they were well prepared in the process and really offered great insight into the role. I really enjoyed speaking with them and have nothing negative to say.
