This was supposed to be a "simple scripting interview" for a DBA position, but they asked me to do LeetCode 3-Sum. This was entirely inappropriate. DBAs do not need to know algorithms like this, especially not from memory. I know this because the team member interviewer said he would not have been able to solve it either.
