I reached out to hiring team directly as I had similar experience for this role. Hiring team reached out to me for further rounds of discussion.
However quite disappointed to see that they had no clue for this position. I think they already decided not to proceed with my candidature in advance (might be they already hired some one) before the interview.
One junior person just took the interview and asked all irrelevant questions and decided that my skills are not fit for this position. Anyways it is not my lose but company's lose just because one person (who by the way already decided to to proceed) thought my skills are not relevant. I wish I could have got a chance to showcase how my experience could really make an impact in this organization as I have done similar work through out my career with core commitment and passion
My suggestion to hiring team:
Please put some hard work to understand the candidate before reject him straight away. Spend some time on culture fit, leadership skills, other aspects to understand candidate as person and don't depend on one person's feedback as he had only one dimensions to look at person. Last advise is that if you already decided not to proceed with candidate, please update him upfront so that they don't weste their time.
