I came to Tintri through a recruiter and the first stage was a telephone interview. The first thing I noticed was the energy coming over the phone and instantly knew this company was doing very, very big things. The process is pretty rigorous because, in this very special environment and at such a crucial time, it's essential that the fit is right. I went for a face-to-face interview at the London office and was greeted by the Global Director of Inside Sales who had come all the way from the US to interview new ISRs (that's how committed Tintri is to the fit being right) . The office was absolutely buzzing with energy and intensity and I then went into a separate room and was interviewed by the Director and every single ISR working there on that day so it took a couple of hours. Interview questions ranged from 'why sales', 'why Tintri', 'what do you know about us', 'experience' etc. to conversations about hobbies, personal branding and work/success ethos. The best advice I would give to someone coming to Tintri to interview is twofold. The first is do your homework on what the company does...the company website and youtube is basically a library so there is no excuse really! The second is if you really, really want to work at Tintri, let the people interviewing you know just how much and why! It's a fantastic company with a great culture so trust me, if you've got the right attitude, it's the job you want!
