It was a little confusing. I applied for a role on Mercor and was redirected to Toptal where a recruiter set up a 10 minute evening interview (I guess they are overseas?) I gather they use AI to validate the test they require you to take. Personally, I believe your experience should speak for itself and if you can't articulate the value you add then you probably shouldn't apply for certain roles.
It wasn't a hard test but I decided not to move forward.
