I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Centerville, OH) in Jun 2012
Interview
A very sweet recruiter contacted me after seeing my resume. She told me about the company and the job and told me if I was interested to apply online. I did this and was scheduled for a phone interview that lasted about 45 minutes.and consisted of talking about my background, the job, the company, normal interview questions, and a three minute sales pitch. I thought I did kind of awful because I was so nervous, but was called in for an on site interview.
This lasted 3 1/2 hours, but really didn't feel long. I was sat at a computer and did a test of abbreviations, company history from the website, and then watched two short videos about the job. The people working around me were all young and very cool. The way they talk to customers is very relaxed. Everyone was super nice to me. I job shadowed/talked with one account executive and then spoke to a top salesman. Then I had an interview with my recruiter and an interview with the main manager. The experience was great. I loved the atmosphere and the people and I have no horror stories to tell like so many others on this site have told. It's a great company for someone else and you have full opportunities to make a ton of cash after your first year (when you can start making commission). Oh! Another great thing is that you work with someone for a while, so you actually learn hands on how to do the job instead of being thrown to the wolves. The people I spoke with let me know that this is the hardest job they've ever done, but it's also very rewarding. Everyone was very clear about the goods and struggles of the job, so you can make a clear decision. I was told that there is a 50% turnover within the first year because the job is very stressful and demanding.

Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I believe there was a total of about three interviews and then your hired. They will most likely hire you and if you don’t make it through proving grounds that’s when you will get fired
I applied online. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Columbus, OH) in Jan 2026
Interview
Multiple phases and conversations. Very money-oriented. If you are interested in building capital, it is a good experience, but they make it clear that the job is a grind. Overall, it is a good interview experience, and they make it clear that you will be thoroughly trained.

The interview process with TQL was simple and easy-going. They have a three-step interview process, the first two are conversation-based with a recruiter, and the last one is with her manager.
