I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Orlando, FL) in Feb 2013
Interview
Three step interview process, first two are telephone calls. Asked to prepare 2-3 minute sales pitch on any product, regardless of whether it's industry related. Was interrupted after 30 seconds and told "You don't need to hear the whole pitch to know if someone can sell." Second phone interview was standard questions such as "What was your least favorite job" and "Where do you see yourself in five years?". They want someone who is extremely money motivated, willing to work 60-70 hours a week with a non-fixed schedule, including Saturdays and told me flat out that I was "making it really hard on myself" if I wanted to try and do this job and continue to complete my Bachelors at the third "panel" interview, which consisted of two execs on a webcam, one who never even showed his face. The phone interviews were 30 min each, to the minute. Incredibly precise and you got the feeling they have a high turnover and conduct a large volume of these interviews on a weekly basis.

Question 1
Have you ever worked a blue collar job? Many of the people you will be selling to are truckers or work on shipping docks, how will you relate to them?

Great interview process very thorough. I am currently in the interview process about to get to part 2. Looking forward to learn more about the company. Hopefully soon I will be getting further into the interview process.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Charleston, SC) in Oct 2025
Interview
I had a phone interview and was expecting to go to a Zoom interview. I never heard back from them after that. I guess they did not like me, but I have heard that it is easy to get a job with them, and I saw much success with many other places. Maybe it just wasn’t a good fit, and I’m OK with that.

They asked me about my strengths and weaknesses, just as you would imagine
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2025
Interview
Hannah called me and set up an interview as soon as she possibly could. Things are going well and she ghosted me after two interview interviews. I got a generic email this morning saying they’re going to move on without me. This is frustrating because I’m severely overqualified for the position and everything was going swimmingly. It’s even more frustrating because this job is entry-level and I have eight years of record-breaking experience at multiple Fortune 500 Thai companies. The gatekeeper at TQL is someone named Hannah who, according to LinkedIn, was waitressing at Buffalo wild wings while I was breaking records at Yelp. That doesn’t seem right.
