I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2012
Interview
When I was hired I talked to a recruiter and she moved me along. The biggest part about getting past the recruiter is mentioning that you're hungry for money, and money motivated. Let them know that you enjoy talking to people, and have no problem dealing with rejection. Next step, you'll come to the office and take skills review test. After you past that you'll probably sit with another trainee and then a broker. When sitting with a trainee and a broker make sure to ask good questions. A good question is anything that you may not know, there's a lot going on, and there's a lot you're not going to know or understand. Everyone understands that, ask them a question about that, as both the trainee and the broker will let the boss know if they think you'll be a good fit.
