I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Trader Joe's (Oakland, CA) in Jun 2021
Interview
The interview process was very laid back and casual. My interviewer was very personable, it felt like a normal conversation, he bought me a coffee and we spoke outside. The guy who interviewed me had a set of predetermined questions and ranked the response on a scale (looked like poor to excellent). There was also room to take notes, so it looks like they take a holistic approach. There were multiple rounds of interviews, I made it to the 3rd (and I believe normally, final) round.

Question 1
Describe a time in a previously held role where you demonstrated problem-solving abilities?
Applied through website, got an email about the interview, then later a call. I sat in a room with 4 other candidates. Two managers came in to the interview and asked standard questions typical for an interview. It was no more than 15-20 minutes.

Interview
Went to interview in chino hills, California. They literally told me to walk around the store until they were ready for me and I walked around for 15 minutes and nothing. So I left and then they tried to call me and say that they didn’t want to move forward because I LEFT. Even went as far as to ask me why I had to leave ? Because people have other things to do than be interviewed by rude disorganized people.
