Interview
Dropped off application. I had a mini interview and was given another interview time 2days later. When I arrived for the interview , I was early , so the manager accepting applications decided to give me my interview since the other manager was in with another applicant. After the interview , he said they would be calling to let me know their decision the next day.

Why Trader Joe's? What can you bring to TJ? What is a weakness? How would you handle a difficult customer? Are you familiar with what this job entails ( I.e. Everyone does everything )? What do you want to get paid ? ( check out your store, pay can vary from store to store in same metropolitan area ).

I was not hired! It was a new store so it was a very competitive position. I was emailed the day after my application, but denied shortly after the call. I am under the assumption that this location prefers experienced people.

Submitted an application in person. The manager who accepted the application asked me about favorite Trader Joe's products. Later received a call asking if would like to interview. Was interviewed by two managers, fairly low key but professional.

Rigorous process. 2 separate interviews first with a manager and the final with the store captain. Overall the process took about 2 weeks. But also took a little bit to hear back from when I dropped off my resume.
