It was several tests and phone interviews with a recruiter in New York, and then a scheduled in-person interview with the onsite people (mine was SF). They could use the interview process to weed people out. There are a lot of strange people in the Bay now, pushy personalities, competitive, cutthroat, but the interviews are just chats, talking with the VP who takes up most of the conversation, they never get a good sense of who a candidate actually is. And then when you are working there with them you see the negativity, the favoritism, the inconsistent personalities, the clashing, it can be awful.
Interview was too easy.
