Contacted by internal HR for pre-screening. Background was what they were looking for. 2nd round with senior technology manager- half hour phone screen lasted 1hr 45 mins, excellent conversation from soup to nuts, we discussed salary range. Their posted range was between 100-175k. PREFECT, right in my range at the upper end of the scale. No bonuses in this role, which I found odd. Interviewer Stated I had the skills and back ground he was looking for. 3rd & 4th round of interviews with the helpdesk team leads that would be reporting to this role. Once again 30 min interviews lasting for over an hour each, great feedback from both. HR gets back to me stating all interview were 100% positive and last step is to meet with CTO.
They send several time slots, I choose two...waited 3 days...silence. Sent a follow up email requesting new scheduling date....silence. 3rd e-mail was the charmer.
Receive a canned e-mail from HR stating they have decided to go with a candidate that is more in line with what the team needs.
After reading reviews it looks like they simply just do not pay market rate for senior global roles. I was disappointed to say the least.
Ghosting with no feedback as to why seems to be the new professional norm for many companies these days.
