I had a initial phone interview that was very thorough and I was asked about my current and previous experience. A couple of days later I was told that I made the 2nd round and to come in for an interview with the same person I spoke to on the phone. As soon as the interview started she told me she only had a couple of minutes for me. Okkaaayyyyyyy, so let me get this straight, I prepared for the interview, arrived on time, took time to look up statistics on the company and was told there was not really any time for me. The few minutes I was given I was asked the exact same questions from the phone interview. Did she not take notes when we initially spoke?? The rest of the interview I felt like I was defending all the reasons that they shouldn't hire me. I was also told that I was pretty much overqualified for the position and if I was hired they were afraid I'd leave in a few years. I believe they already had someone else in mind and I was just a formality. If that's the case, don't waste candidates time when we could be pursuing a company that's more prepared and professional in their interview process.
