The company is an analytical sweatshop for some US based company. The HR hiring interaction was top notch but once you get into the door for the interview the experience is different. People are well dressed and the atmosphere seems nice. I was 30 minutes late which the interviewer patiently agreed to adjust agendas. The first round was business case (marketing internet sell), which I thought was excellent. The only problem was the interviewers were very unprofessional (they didnt take much effort in reading through my answers and just tried to 'stress' test me on some assumptions). They also smoked and came back and the smell was obvious and showed disrespect to the interviewee. The technical interview next - I had worked a bit on python, but my expertise were on SQL and Excel. The guy took a look at me and somehow he got this impression that I am going to make this interview hard on this guy. What happened next was he trying his best to make sure I don't answer the tech round. Typical of a corporate Sr.Mgr who bullies his way around. Anyway I was really irritated in the way he was conducted a tech interview (asking SQL questions like Karan Johar asks rapid fire). Thats not how we code. I answered some questions and could not answer others. Not making assumptions here but I felt this guy didnt want me there from the beginning. No surprises, I didnt get through the tech round. Partly my fault, but a terrible interview experience.
