I interviewed for Trellisware 5-6 years ago and it was the worst interview experience I had.
I was on time for the interview and was left waiting at the conference room when the light turned off after 15 minutes. I went to the front desk and told the lady about the light. She apologized and went to fix, then followed up what the hold up was with the interviewers.
Finally the interviewers showed up after half an hour. Interview went well, I talked to 2 peers and the manager. Days later, I found out that they want to move forward and they scheduled a lunch with the manager. I wanted to give it a chance and agreed.
Lunch was awkward. The manager mostly ate and barely tried to make conversation. After lunch, we went back to the facility (back to the conference room) to discuss salary expectations. He asked how much I was making at the time which I answered. Manager stepped out to call HR.
10-15 minutes later, conference room light turned off. I went to ask the front desk, but they weren’t there. So I was standing outside the conference room waiting. Gave it another 15 minutes and I left without a word/note since I couldn’t find anyone to leave any message.
Never heard back from Trellisware after that. I didn’t reach out either.
