I met Triage Consulting on campus and was impressed with their information session. I applied online for an intial in person on campus interview that took about 20 minutes. A week later I got a call that they would fly me to San Francisco for a full day of interviews.
When I arrived at their offices, I met the other candidates, had a quick breakfast, and met with an Associate and Senior Associate who would later take me to lunch. My day consisted of three interviews total. The first two were back to back in the morning. Questions were strictly behavioraly based and very conversational in nature. Interviewers were extremely nice, and were totally open to any questions I had about the organization, its future, and culture.
After the second interview was a case. It consisted of examining hospital contracts and bills and determining the payment errors. Only skills needed are critical reading skills and basic math. The case is completed independently and completed in about 45 minutes.
After the case was lunch with the two previously mentioned Associates. We went to a nice restaurant and had a great informal discussion about the organization and Associate lifestyle. Lunch lasted about 90 minutes and was immediately followed by the final interview. I recieved results about 2 weeks later. Overall a great experience, one of the reasons I accepted my offer.
