A third party recruiter representing them contacted me via email asking for my ssn and dob. I was recently contacted by a third party recruiter representing this organization who requested my SSN and date of birth. I find this request completely inappropriate, as I have no way to verify whether this recruiter is legitimate or potentially a scammer. When I reached out to support, I was informed that this is part of their "Managed Service Provider’s vendor management system." However, I made it clear that I will be deleting my account and will no longer work with their recruiters or any recruiters or organizations who promote or use them. Requesting such sensitive personal information through improper channels is highly unprofessional and raises serious ethical concerns. No legitimate or ethical recruiter should ever make such requests. This behavior should be grounds for immediate termination.
