Tripadvisor Backednd Developer interview questions

Interview with recruiter in english. We talked mostly about last work experience (technologies, my responsabilities, etc.). Second interview with Software Engineer. He presented me with a string exercise, in the language i felt more comfortable with. But it wasn't the most comfortable experience. He didnt talk much, didnt have the most friendly attitude... I wasnt allowed to run my code, and i had to go trhough the code several times along with the software engineer. I ended it up expiring my exercise time without finishing, although it it was a fairly easy exercise.
