I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at TruGreen
Interview
A group of 8 people were interviewed at once, watch a short presentation and listened to several calls. Was told would hear from in 72 hours. Within 72 hours received a call for a second interview. Everything this company said they would do has taken place so far.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TruGreen in Nov 2014
Interview
They called me after reviewing my resume online and scheduled an interview with me. At the interview I met with two supervisors, one at a time. They were very chill and relaxed guys which made the interview go smoothly. It was probably one of the easiest interviews I have ever been to just because they seemed like they wanted to get to really know me and see what I was all about. They answered literally everything I had to ask. After that they scheduled me to come in for a job preview which was sitting with a sales agent and listening to their calls and just seeing how the process works. The girl I sat with was really nice. After that I had another interview with the Sales manager and he was just as nice as the supervisors!! He was very down to earth and extremely thorough with explaining how the company works and what my position would be. After the interview he said they would call me in a few days with a response. They called back and offered me the position and I accepted the offer. About a week or two later they had me do a background check and a drug test and they got the results within a day. The whole process took about two or three weeks but made sure they called me and kept me updated on everything. They never once made me feel like I was in the dark about anything. The only thing I wish I would have done was negotiate on the pay a little bit. I honestly was just so excited to get another job I just took whatever they offered me. Other than that I feel like this is going to be a fun place to work!!!!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The hardest thing about the interview would be the questions that were like "describe the difference between selling in person and over the phone." or "describe a situation you may have had with a previous manager when you did not agree with them and how did you resolve the disagreement?" The questions really were not that hard. It just made me nervous having to think on the spot. My palms got a little sweaty but I got through it no problem!
