Was brought to Trulia from a recruiter posting. Met in person with recruiter. Told of several options of positions.
Did not hear back for the longest time. Then was to have face to face with staff at Trulia.
HR Manager is wonderful. However, the person I was to meet with was not there. I was expecting at the least to reschedule another time. Instead, I met one of their newest hires.
Keep in mind I sat and waited for at the least 10 minutes.
Did not smile. Very uninterested. At one point I thought of walking out. This position and company was of so much hype. I am in an interview with a person who has never seen my resume. And so impersonal I could not believe it. Would smiling hurt you? Showing some interest that I can breathe?
They were are shocked that the sales staff is different when it comes to managing. Gen Y. Yes there needs to be rule, expectations set.
Awesome idea for company. However, the employees are running the show. And the managers seem to have no control. This is a starter sales position.
I did not hear back for ANOTHER week. They were not moving forward. I think it was the correct decision for both parties.
