      Production Foreman Interview

      Apr 27, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Salt Lake City, UT
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Tuff Shed (Salt Lake City, UT) in Feb 2024

      Interview

I walked into the Gms office and there was the production manager and the Operations manager. When I walked in I instantly felt a bad energy and I already knew why I was demoted from this position in September of '23 it was my own doing. this was not the same energy and upbeat environment I remember from 2 yrs before when I got the position in '21. I spent the next 45 minutes listening to all 3 of them just unleash with every little thing that they could think of that i did wrong Iwhich alot of it they encouraged and praised me and my counterpart at the time. Not once was the fact brought up how I had been growing my personal knowledge and skills all over the shop or how i was highly praised when i was sent to prescott arizona to train and since I was demoted i should have gotten 2 certifations i became very good at building doors and cutting trusses both engineered and not. or the fact that I completely fixed and buried the issue that caused my demotion which after me doing everything I was expected and then some and still being overlooked and undervalued not only as a person but a tenured veteran who excelled at everything I did for them I lost my love and passion I had for what I did. I was treated like I was a enemy in that interview and it was open season at the end of the interview I was told that I had grown alot in the 4 or 5 months since I was asked to step down not one other thing was said in a uplifting positive manner
