      Office Assistant Interview

      Dec 14, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Cambridge, MA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Turo (Cambridge, MA) in Oct 2016

      Interview

All of the interviewers were super down to Earth, and friendly. I first spoke to the recruiter for a brief phone interview, she was incredibly amiable and made the process seem easy. They had me do a small "case study" that I emailed over to them, before they offered me an interview. Once that was reviewed I had an in-office interview. There I met 1:1 with one of the interviewers, he was engaged, made me feel comfortable, and seemed organized through the whole experience. For the second half of the interview I met via Google Hangout with two people from the San Francisco office. I was impressed with how flawlessly the transition went. Both of the interviewers took the time to tell me about the company, and their experiences here which gave me a look into Turo's company culture. They were eager to answer any questions I had, and made me excited about the opportunity. Overall, I think the whole process took about two weeks, give or take a couple of days. They made me an offer about a week after my in-office interview. It was seamless, and I enjoyed the teams enthusiasm & openness throughout my experience. I would recommend seeking a job with Turo to anyone who finds a fit within an open position.
